I think the best way to begin a visit to this city is with a Liberty Statue cruise. Be prepared to spend the whole day there, but it is worth it! It is hard to say how much the statue itself impressed me. I had dreamed of seeing the real thing since I was a child and I was not disappointed. Coming back from Liberty Island to the mainland, take a walk in Battery Park, see the financial centre and take a picture at the Bull statue. After that, Broadway and Times Square will be waiting for you. You need to visit at night as well as during the day to feel the whole beauty of these legendary streets. Enjoy a stunning bird’s eye view of the city from one of its highest points, the Empire State Building or Chrysler Building.

I visited all the districts in New York, but I was impressed most of all with Manhattan. Not only are all the city’s major places of interest located here, but you can also spend half a day in one of the the most beautiful parks in the world – Central Park. Here you can stroll along the paths, take a break from the city rush and read a book in the shade of the trees.
