THE NIGERIAN Food Event will be the premier international exhibition catering to the food, beverage and hospitality sectors in Nigeria. Taking place in West Africa’s economic hub, Lagos, Nigeria, the inaugural edition of the exhibition will be held on October 22-24, 2019 at the Landmark Centre on Victoria Island.

With a projected compound annual growth rate of 28.7 percent within the Nigerian food and beverage sector by 2025 and the fact that Nigeria’s GDP is the highest on the continent, the scope of opportunity for investment across the food, beverage and hospitality industry is huge.

The Nigerian Food Event will provide a perfectly-placed trade platform for international companies wanting to expand their footprint in the West African region and take advantage of the thriving marketplace. This October, the Nigerian Food Event will bring together more than 2,000 industry professionals and over 80 leading market brands on display, all under one roof.

With show-floor features including ‘Drink Lagos’, a premier pavilion for those who source, buy or serve drinks from sommeliers to bartenders. There will also be a ‘Chef Skillery’ which will invite leading chefs into a live kitchen demonstration area to provide exclusive tips and tricks from trending ingredient combinations to technique.

Further to the live demonstration features will be business-orientated conference sessions. The Business

Hub and the Franchising/SME Hub will both host expert representatives as they share market insights, focussing on the more pertinent issues facing the industry. With tailored content for small-to-medium enterprises at the Franchise/SME Hub, the expo is aiming to attract companies of all sizes in

2019.

The organisers, Afrocet Montgomery, have a combined

146 years’ worth of experience specialising in running high end exhibitions and events in Africa,

Europe and Asia. Entrance to the show will be completely free for industry professionals, you can find out more about registering to visit via the website.
