Copadex Senegal

Copadex Senegal has been able to support CSS over the last four seasons thanks to the supply of agricultural tires. Thanks to the support and technical monitoring of Copadex Senegal, CSS has replaced all Diagonale technology tires for Radial technology tires. This change was made after a test demonstrating the longevity and advantages of Michelin Radial tires.

This change has reduced the hourly cost of tires by three and generated economies of scale amounting to hundreds of thousands of euros.

Switching from Diagonal to Radial technology has saved tens of production days per campaign: fewer punctures and less downtime of agricultural tractors due to tires.

Finally, since the Radial tire technology has a less significant impact on soil compaction, the CSS terrain has been better preserved during the last four campaigns.

Copadex Senegal continues to support CSS through technical support and regular fleet visits and continues to offer innovative solutions in order to optimise the tire expense item.
