ICCK to present global speaker series

The Indian Chamber of Commerce in Korea (ICCK) will present the Thunderbird School of Global Management global forum “Globalization in Uncertain Times” at the Millennium Seoul Hilton, Tuesday morning.

The session will feature Thunderbird School of Global Management CEO and Director General Allen Morrison, Ph.D., who will examine the challenges to leadership in an era of uncertainty.

“Rapid technological change and globalization are trends that feed off each other. As both accelerate, the rules of the game are changing at a quickening rate. This has left a leadership void — and opportunity — for many,” the event organizer said on the Thunderbird website.

“While some have called for more authoritative leadership, others have dismissed the need for leadership and called for pure market solutions. Similarly, some have called for more and faster globalization, and others have suggested that the future lies in national solutions.”

Thunderbird’s Global Speaker Series offers attendees the opportunity to hear, firsthand, from renowned voices commentators. Previous speakers include the Dalai Lama and Condoleezza Rice.

Allen J. Morrison previously served as a senior adviser for global management education and executive education initiatives at Arizona State University.

Professor Morrison has also authored or co-authored over 60 articles and case studies, and 11 books, including “Sunset in the Land of the Rising Sun” and “Global Explorers: The Next Generation of Leaders.”
