Oktoberfes­t early bird tickets available

The Grand Hilton Seoul said early bird tickets for its annual Oktoberfes­t are now available.

The festival is scheduled for Sept. 16 at the hotel’s convention center. It is the 11th year for the hotel to host the biggest German festival in town, with 1,000 attendees each year.

The early bird sales will be available until Aug. 16, and customers will receive a 20,000 won discount. The original price is 150,000 won per ticket. The festival will feature German tap beer, along with traditiona­l Bavarian white sausage, Schweinsha­xe and black forest ham among other delicacies. The Anton Band from Munich will fly into Seoul to perform live music.

A lucky draw will award winners with Lufthansa airline tickets or hotel vouchers. The hotel will offer the attendees a special room package. A one-night stay in the hotel room and two Oktoberfes­t tickets.
