Over half the people who speak English worldwide are native speakers of other languages, yet many of them are as adept with English as the best educated native speakers are.
전세계의 영어사용자중절반이상이모국어가영어가아닌다른 언어지만, 이가운데많은 사람들은 영어를 마치 최고의 교육을받은원어민처럼구사한다.
If you consider how they got that way ― studying the language for years while never being sure they would ever learn it ― it’s no surprise (except maybe to them) they have become fluent with English.

It’s as if the language belongs to them, which it does because they continue to study, practice and use it.

If you could spend a couple of hours a day with learned scholars discussing current events and important issues in English, you would surely become better with the language than you are now.
하루에두어시간을훈련된전문가들과최신뉴스와중요주제에대해영어로토론하며보낼수 있다면,당신도의심의여지없이지금보다훨씬더영어를잘하게될것이다.
Also, because of everything you would learn during your discussions with the scholars, you would broaden your mind, live a saner life and come to sensible decisions about what kind of world all of us want for ourselves and our children.
전문가들과 나눈 토론에서 얻은 지식 덕분에 시야를 넓힐 수 있게 되고, 더 바람직한삶을영위하게될뿐만아니라우리세대 와 자손들을 위해 우리가 원하는 세상에 가까워지는 현명한 결정을 내릴 수도 있게될것이다.
Spending a couple of hours a day with the scholars would, of course, cost more than most of us could afford, not even taking into account the inconvenience of changing our schedules to meet with them.
물론 전문가들과 매일 하루 두어 시간을함께 보내려면 대부분의 사람들이 감당할수 있는 것보다 훨씬 더 많은 돈이 들 것이다. 스케줄을 맞춰야 하는 불편함은 차치하고서라도말이다.
(It would be fun, though, if we could.) But unless you’re rich, it’s out of the question.
(하지만 분명 재미있긴 할 것이다,할수만있다면 말이다.) 하지만당신이부자가아니라면,모두소용없는일이긴하다.
