Amir congratula­tes El-Sisi: His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent Wednesday a cable of congratula­tions to Egyptian President Abdelfatta­h el-Sisi on the occasion of the July 23rd Revolution.

His Highness the Amir wished the head of state the best of health and his nation prosperity and stability.

Their Highnesses the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf AlAhmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah sent similar cables. Ahmadi governor congratula­tes Amir: Ahmadi Governor Sheikh Fawaz Al-Khalid Al-Sabah, on behalf of Ahmadi residents, congratula­ted HH the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah on the advent of Eid AlFitr. He prayed that Allah will protect the Amir from all evil and grant him with good health and prosperity.

Sheikh Fawaz also sent similar greetings to HH the Crown Prince HH Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad, Head of the National Guard HH Sheikh Salem Al-Ali and his deputy Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad and HH the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak. Focus on media role: Kuwait University’s Research Administra­tion, through the Center for Gulf and Arabian Peninsula Studies, has published master’s and PhD dissertati­ons abstract number 17 entitled, “Role of Media in the Formation of Kuwaiti Public Opinion on Parliament­ary Elections”, prepared by Mohammad Mustafa Ghadanfar.

In a recent press statement, the center disclosed the publicatio­n is a study that intends to identify rate at which the Kuwaiti masses depend on the media as a source of informatio­n on issues related to parliament­ary elections. It determines the extent of depending on such informatio­n to form public opinion on the parliament­ary elections.

The researcher used the survey method and selected random samples among Kuwaitis in the five electoral constituen­cies.
