PAAET to disburse KD 200 social allowance on Sunday
KUWAIT CITY, April 28: The Public Authority for Applied Education and Training (PAAET) will disburse the KD 200 social allowance to students on Sunday, reports Al-Rai daily quoting sources.
Sources said the authority will send the list of beneficiaries to the banks on Thursday, clarifying that the payment of the allowance was delayed this month due to a glitch in the financial system of the Students Affairs Department.
Meanwhile, Board Chairman of Kuwait Information and Libraries Society Dr Abdulaziz Al-Suwait confirmed that the salaries of the staff in public libraries will be paid within the next few days, reports Al-Seyassah daily.
In a press statement after his meeting with Assistant Secretary General for Financial and Administrative Affairs and Services in the National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters (NCCAL) Dr Tahani Al-Adwani, Al-Suwait asserted the rights of employees are considered a red line and the society is working hard to achieve its goals, particularly in protecting the rights of workers.
On the other hand, Al-Adwani stressed the salaries of public libraries’ staff who transferred from the Ministry of Education to NCCAL will no longer be delayed. She clarified the transfer process took more time, considering the need to transfer the functional and financial data of workers into the system of the council.
