The 10th an­nual Los An­ge­les Greek Fes­ti­val will honor Twen­ti­eth Cen­tury Fox Chair­man and CEO Jim Gianop­u­los dur­ing its an­nual Or­pheus Awards cer­e­mony at the Egyp­tian The­atre in Hol­ly­wood on June 5.

Gianop­u­los joins pre­vi­ously an­nounced Or­pheus hon­oree, Academy Award-win­ning ac­tor J.K. Sim­mons (“Whiplash”), who stars in in the fest’s clos­ing night film, Christo­pher Pa­pakali­atis’ “Worlds Apart”, the high­est gross­ing Greek film since 2009.

Ad­di­tion­ally, fest di­rec­tor Aris Katopodis dis­closed the names of the nine jurors of the 2016 event. The jury mem­bers will de­ter­mine which of the fest’s 50 films will re­ceive Or­pheus Awards in the cat­e­gories of short film, doc­u­men­tary, fea­ture film, and per­for­mance. (RTRS)
