Kuwait lender recognised at Euromoney Award for Excellence 2016
KUWAIT CITY, June 6: Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait (ABK) received the ‘Best Bank Transformation in the Middle East’ award at the Euromoney Award for Excellence 2016 at an event held on June 1, 2016 at the Raffles Hotel, Dubai.
Abdulla Al Sumait, Deputy Chief General Manager at ABK and Fawzy Al Thunayan, GM Board Affairs as well as ABK’s management team were present at the ceremony.
ABK has come a long way in the past year and has delivered major changes and developments that have indeed supported the transformation of the Bank. With the implementation of the ‘Simpler Banking’ strategy and major HR and technology enhancements, ABK has entered a new era and has further simplified banking with its simpler Banking model which allows clients to manage their banking needs with more security, speed and convenience.
The transformations rolled out across the Bank fall in line with the Banks Vision; ‘Reimagining a Simpler Bank’, and its Mission; ‘To consistently provide experiences that simplify and enrich people’s lives’, while reinforcing its core values of Transparency, Integrity, Simplicity and Excellence.
