PIC earns an ‘ISO 55001’ certificate

KUWAIT CITY, July 24, (KUNA): Petrochemical Industries Company (PIC) has earned an “ISO 55001” certificate in asset management, a distinction the company hailed as a “first of its kind benchmark.” CEO of the fertilizers department of PIC Mijbil Al-Shammeri said that the company is proud to “have been the first Kuwaiti company to be the recipient of the ISO 55001 certificate,” an accomplishment he attributed to the company’s commitment to fulfilling its goals.

“This accomplishment is a testament to the company’s dedication to achieving long-term standards of excellence,” PIC official Ahmad Al-Mulla said.

Moreover, Al-Mulla underscored that having ISO 55001 certification would serve as an incentive to other companies, which would in turn, bring about a thriving oil sector industry.
