Co-ops raided

KUWAIT CITY, July 24: Illegal Structures Demolition Department at the Capital Municipality recently conducted an inspection campaign at several cooperative societies and shops in Al-Mubarakiya Markets and issued 93 citations for various types of violations — 82 related to advertisements and 11 for hygiene, reports Al-Seyassah daily.

The campaign was in the framework of plans established by the department in collaboration with relevant monitoring authorities, and the team was divided into two groups to ensure that all nooks and crannies of the markets were combed completely. The violations included expired advertisement license and displaying unauthorized goods for sale.

Head of the department Engineer Abdullah Jaber led the team supported by Shift Supervisor Ahmad Karam.

Acting on information, a team of rescue men went to the scene and provided the man first aid before referring him to Mubarak Hospital. A case was registered against him.
