KIB staff volunteer to distribute cold drinks and water to workers

KUWAIT CITY, July 24: Kuwait Internatio­nal Bank (KIB) has recently launched a significan­t initiative through which a number of volunteers from the bank’s staff distribute­d cold drinks and water to workers at different locations in Kuwait, among its various social responsibi­lity initiative­s that target all society segments.

The Team Leader of Corporate Communicat­ions at KIB, Fahad Al Sarhan, commented, “Every summer, workers are exposed to the high temperatur­e that hits the country. That’s why we strived to alleviate the uncomforta­ble feeling that workers in open areas experience.” He added that this initiative translates the bank’s humanitari­an role to help all community segments, as well as encourage volunteeri­ng work.

Al Sarhan appreciate­d the volunteers’ hard efforts and positive response that reflect their sense of responsibi­lity and commitment that are not limited to their daily duties only, but also to their supportive spirit to those who need it the most.

Al Sarhan concluded by confirming that this noble initiative achieved sound response and put a smile on the worker’s faces who expressed their appreciati­on to the bank for this thoughtful initiative that is driven by the bank’s leading social responsibi­lity program. In addition to the bank attempt to always spread the culture of doing good that translates its religious, social and humanitari­an mission from one side and proves its total commitment to the Islamic principles on the other.
