KIB staff volunteer to distribute cold drinks and water to workers
KUWAIT CITY, July 24: Kuwait International Bank (KIB) has recently launched a significant initiative through which a number of volunteers from the bank’s staff distributed cold drinks and water to workers at different locations in Kuwait, among its various social responsibility initiatives that target all society segments.
The Team Leader of Corporate Communications at KIB, Fahad Al Sarhan, commented, “Every summer, workers are exposed to the high temperature that hits the country. That’s why we strived to alleviate the uncomfortable feeling that workers in open areas experience.” He added that this initiative translates the bank’s humanitarian role to help all community segments, as well as encourage volunteering work.
Al Sarhan appreciated the volunteers’ hard efforts and positive response that reflect their sense of responsibility and commitment that are not limited to their daily duties only, but also to their supportive spirit to those who need it the most.
Al Sarhan concluded by confirming that this noble initiative achieved sound response and put a smile on the worker’s faces who expressed their appreciation to the bank for this thoughtful initiative that is driven by the bank’s leading social responsibility program. In addition to the bank attempt to always spread the culture of doing good that translates its religious, social and humanitarian mission from one side and proves its total commitment to the Islamic principles on the other.
