Amir returns
KUWAIT CITY, July 26, (KUNA): His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and his accompanying delegation arrived in Kuwait on Tuesday after heading Kuwait’s delegation to the 27th Arab Summit which was held in Nouakchott, the capital of Mauritania.
His Highness the Amir was received at the airport by His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad AlJaber Al-Sabah, National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Ali Al-Ghanim, senior sheikhs, Deputy Chief of Kuwait National Guard Sheikh Mishaal
Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, acting Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Mohammed Al-Khaled AlHamad Al-Sabah, acting Amiri Diwan Minister Adviser Mohammad Daifallah Sharar, ministers and senior police, national guard and army officials.
The accompanying delegation included First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Finance and Acting Oil Minister Anas Al-Saleh, Director of the office of His Highness the Amir Ahmad Fahad Al-Fahad, head of the Amiri protocols Sheikh Khaled AlAbdullah Al-Sabah Al-Nasser Al-Sabah, Deputy Foreign Minister Khaled Al-Jarallah, chief of media and cultural affairs at the Amiri Diwan Youssef Al-Roumi, Assistant Foreign Minister for the office of first deputy premier and foreign minister Sheikh Dr Ahmad Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah, senior officials at the Amiri Diwan and Foreign Ministry.
His Highness the Amir meanwhile, sent a cable of thanks to Mauritanian President Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz.
His Highness the Amir in the cable thanked the Mauritanian leader for the great hospitality extended to him and his accompanying delegation during the 27th Arab Summit.
His Highness also praised what has been achieved in this summit of decisions aimed to serve the Arab nation’s interests. He wished the Mauritanian president good health and for his country further development and prosperity.
