Saudis angered

‘Pull nationalit­y’

KUWAIT CITY, July 26: A number of Saudis recently launched a social media campaign on Twitter, expressing their anger over MP Abdul Hameed Dashti’s statements which were deemed offensive to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdul Aziz. They demanded for the withdrawal of his Kuwaiti nationalit­y, reports Al-Seyassah daily.

With the tone of anger and reproach, the Saudi activists used the hashtag “Dashti libels King Salman” in protest against the remarks he made recently on Syrian TV news that belongs to the regime of Bashar al-Assad.
