Deadline extended for course applicants
Youths encouraged: Al-Hashash
KUWAIT CITY, July 27: Director General of the Public Relations and Security Media General Department in the Interior Ministry Brigadier General Adel Ahmad Al-Hashash has announced extension of the period for receiving applications of those who wish to join the First Sergeant Course Batch 22 at Sa’ad Al-Abdullah Security Science Academy, and Non Commissioned Officer, Lance Corporal Course Batch 34 and Private Batch 87 in the Police Academy until Aug 4, 2016
In a press statement, Al-Hashash explained the decision was taken due to the growing interest among applicants and also to encourage the Kuwaiti youths to join the Police Force.
He affirmed the ministry spares no effort in offering benefits to motivate the youths to work in the security sector, in addition to training them to be of service to the political and security leadership and to contribute in maintaining peace and stability in Kuwait.
The general enrollment requirements are as follows: applicant must be a full blooded Kuwaiti (born to Kuwaiti parents), has good moral character, not an ex-convict, not expelled from government service due to conviction or final disciplinary action, not expelled from any academic or other institutions for disciplinary action, must be healthy, should complete physical and breathing examinations, has general knowledge, and must pass the personal interview.
Applicants should submit the following documents to the department upon completion of the online registration:
Certified original copies of educational qualifications; Original and three copies of the identification card; Original and a copy of Kuwaiti citizenship certificate; Original and a copy of Kuwaiti citizenship certificate of parents; Original and three copies of birth certificate; 12 recent passport size 6x4 photos showing full head; Letter from the Civil Service Commission certifying registration with the Public Authority for Manpower.
