DeKeyser signs six-yr contract

DETROIT, July 27, (RTRS): Detroit Red Wings defenseman Danny DeKeyser agreed to a six-year deal, the team announced Tuesday.

DeKeyser, who was a restricted free agent, avoided an arbitratio­n hearing slated for Thursday by agreeing to terms. General manager Ken Holland told the Detroit Free Press that the contract is worth $30 million.

DeKeyser, 26, had 20 points (eight goals, 12 assists) in 78 games last season. He has 75 points (14 goals, 61 assists) in 234 career NHL games.

The avoided arbitratio­n by signing restricted free-agent defenseman to a twoyear contract.

Granberg will receive $575,000 at the NHL level and $240,000 at the American Hockey League level, with the latter pact being split for $175,000 in 2016-17 and $650,000 the following season.

The 23-year-old Swede collected two assists and 13 penalty minutes in 27 games last season with Nashville.

Philadelph­ia Flyers defenseman avoided arbitratio­n by agreeing to a multi-year deal, the team announced.

According to published reports, Manning’s deal is worth $1.95 million over two seasons.

Manning, 26, had seven points (one goal, six assists) in 56 games last season. He has 12 points (one goal, 11 assists) in 77 career NHL games.

Financial terms were not disclosed by the team for Moore, who collected 11 goals and 33 assists in 40 games with the University of Denver last season.
