Firemen were able to contain a fire that broke out in a vehicle parked near a secondary school in Reqqa area without it extending to neighboring cars and structures.

A security source said a team of firemen accompanied by security operatives and paramedics went to the scene after the Operations Room of the Interior Ministry had been notified about the incident, and they dealt with the situation without recording any injuries. Initial investigation revealed that the fire was caused by a short circuit.
