KUWAIT CITY, Aug 23: An unidentified female Kuwaiti employee of Kuwait’s Washington Health Office is held at the Central Prison for 21 days after she was allegedly found guilty of ‘wasting’ public money, reports Al-Rai daily.
Minister of Health Dr Ali Al-Obeidi had in December 2015 issued a decision to refer several employees including the female employee to the Public Prosecution on suspicion of embezzling public money.

Police have arrested a former Kuwaiti criminal for trafficking in heroin, reports Al-Rai daily.
Initially the man was arrested for reckless driving in Mahboula and police discovered he was under the influence of drugs.
Police have seized from the man’s car 19 sachets of heroin.
