‘Weather to remain humid until next week’

-

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 24: Weather forecast expert Essa Ramadan disclosed that the ‘Suhail Moon’ was seen on Wednesday, August 24, explaining that Arabs during the ancient days used to regard it as a sign of decline in heat and end of summer season in the Arabian Peninsula, reports Al-Seyassah daily.

He forecast that the weather will be humid especially near the coastal areas until the end of next week due to southeasterly winds.

Ramadan indicated that summer season starts to decline during this time of the year and the southerly winds will be prevalent in the Arabian Gulf region due to which humidity will be high and scattered fog will appear often.

He reiterated that humidity and draining weather is expected to continue until the end of next week, adding that the weather will gradually improve after mid of next week especially at nights due to change in the winds from southeasterly to northwesterly.
