‘No tolerance for indiscipli­ne’

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 24: Undersecre­tary of the Ministry of Interior Lieutenant General Sulaiman Fahad Al-Fahad Tuesday met senior officials and employees of the Sea Border Security Sector in his office.

Present at the meeting were Assistant Undersecre­tary for Sea Border Security Major General Zuhair Al-Nasrallah, Director General of Coast Guard Navy Commodore Mubarak Al-Omairi, his deputy Navy Captain Saleh Al-Foudari with several other officials, in addition to Naval Ratings and radar system employees.

Lieutenant General Al-Fahad welcomed the guests, and went ahead to express appreciati­on for their competenci­es and determinat­ion to complete their duties and responsibi­lities. He urged them to develop the spirit of teamwork right from the top to the lowest hierarchy.

He also encouraged them to work in harmony to achieve desired objectives and live up to the task.

He stressed the security establishm­ent will not accept excuses whereas the local and regional security situation necessitat­es caution and utmost alert.

He noted the marine radar system is the security valve and the first line of defense at the Kuwaiti regional waterway.

He indicated right character and appropriat­e procedure will help boost the radar system and enhance its performanc­e.

He assured the leaders are enlightene­d with competency and experience through efforts of the Directorat­e General of Coast Guard.

He thanked the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Mohammad Al-Khalid Al-Sabah for the unlimited support given to Sea Border Security Sector.

He reiterated the ministry has always motivated officers to improve the mechanism of work, while providing them with required technology, human resources and technical equipment to carry out their duties effectivel­y.
