-

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 24: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Mohammad AlKhalid has asked the Central System for Remedying the Status of Illegal Residents (CSRSIR) in Kuwait to prepare lists of names of bedoun who deserve the Kuwaiti citizenship, reports Al-Shahed daily.

However, it is said the CSRSIR is already working on the lists based on the law issued by the National Assembly concerning naturalization of no more than 4,000 bedoun people during 2016.

A source revealed lists containing 965 names are expected to be submitted to the Interior Minister for approval and referring these names to the Council of Ministers before their publication in the official gazette.
