Embassy of Ukraine marks National Day
The Ukrainian Ambassador to Kuwait His Excellency Volodymyr Tolkach affirmed that this year is regarded as the best in terms of the relations between Kuwait and Ukraine particularly through renewal of bilateral political dialogue and economic cooperation in addition to their shared history of 25 years.
He affirmed that Kuwait was successful in turning the page of the occupation while Ukraine is still suffering in trying to attain her rights peacefully.
Ambassador Tolkach said this in a statement issued during a ceremony organized by the Ukrainian Embassy at Salwa Hall on the occasion of the National Day of his country. Minister of Health Dr Ali Al-Obaidi represented the government of Kuwait in the event.
He reminded the attendees about the wise advice of His Highness the Amir issued few months ago regarding the need for citizens to unite for confronting internal and external challenges.
The ambassador affirmed that the Ukrainian people today are united in confronting the external enemy.
