Awadi presents his ‘credential­s’

NEW DELHI, Dec 2, (KUNA): Kuwaiti Ambassador to India Fahad Ahmad Al-Awadi on Wednesday presented his credential­s to Nepalese President Bidhya Devi Bhandari as non-resident ambassador to Nepal.

In a statement to KUNA, the Kuwait Embassy in New Delhi said Ambassador Al-Awadi conveyed best regards and good wishes to the Nepalese president and its people from His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.

The Ambassador also said that the government and people of Kuwait regard the historic and cordial ties with Nepal in high esteem and that the nation is looking forward to enhancing and strengthen­ing this relationsh­ip for the benefit of the people in both countries.

On her part, Nepalese President asked Al-Awadi to convey her regards to His Highness the Amir and His Highness the Crown Prince of Kuwait while underlinin­g that Kathmandu values the cordial bilateral ties with Kuwait.
