Police have arrested two people — a 27-year-old bedoun and 29-year-old Saudi — for impersonating police and robbing pedestrians, reports Al-Shahed daily.

The arrest came after an unidentified Indian filed a complaint with the Taima Police Station.

The man complained the suspects beat him and stole his wallet following which police increased patrols in the area and caught the suspects red-handed within 48 hours. During interrogations, the men denied the charge, but under constant interrogation they broke down and admitted to the crime.
