A robber armed with a handgun was holding seven people in a Paris travel agency on Friday night, police sources told AFP.

“Intervention under way in an armed robbery. Drivers should avoid the area” of the Massena boulevard in the Porte d’Italie area in the south of the French capital, local police tweeted.
