Kala (Art) announces winners of ‘Niram ’16’

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 3: Kala (Art) Kuwait has announced the winners of “Niram 2016” Children’s Day painting competitio­n held on Nov 11, 2016 in associatio­n with “American Tourister”. The prize distributi­on ceremony will take place at Indian Community School, Khaitan on Thursday, Dec 8, 2016 at 2:30 pm onwards.

Kala (Art) Kuwait proudly announce that this is the twelfth consecutiv­e year that Niram has been conducted on the occasion of Children’s Day, the birthday of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the first prime minister of independen­t India. It is worthwhile to note that students of different nationalit­ies from all 21 Indian Schools in Kuwait with the active participat­ion of more than 2,375 children in the competitio­n. The School Management­s as well as Indian Community including business establishm­ents as sponsors have also voluntaril­y extended their entire support to this wonderful event.

Winners of Painting Competitio­n titled “Niram 2016” have been adjudged by the judges appointed by the Executive Committee of “Kala (Art) Kuwait” and accordingl­y the Lists of Winners are being released by the organizers as follows:

Kala (Art) Kuwait, highlights the exclusive prizes for the winners as first place with Gold Coin & gold medal, second place with silver medal and third place with bronze medal along with memento & certificat­e. Merit Prizes and consolatio­n prizes also will be with memento & certificat­e.
