Pinoy Arabia FM ‘Karoling 2’ audition kicks off

inoy Arabia FM, an Internetbased, community service radio station catering to the Filipinos in Kuwait, the Middle East and across the globe officially launched on Dec 1 the “Sing Galing Karoling 2” a Christmas Carol Singing competition on the radio for talented Filipinos aged 16 and above who want to showcase their singing prowess.
The audition kicked off on Thursday with four contestants qualifying for the grand finals on Dec 22, 2016 at the Inn and Go Kuwait Plaza Hotel (formerly Swiss-Belhotel) in Kuwait City. The first week qualifiers are Armstrong John Ong Jocson, Joan E Robin, Sheena Marie S Callego and Mary Ann Oriendo.
Fabulous prizes await the top three winners during the grand finals such as round trip ticket to Manila for the grand prize winner and the People Choice Award plus cash prizes and gift vouchers for the other winners. Sing Galing Karoling 2 is sponsored by Al Rashed International Travel Company, Max’s Restaurant, LBC, Bobyan Travels and Tourism and Ali Abbas Karam Recruitment Agency. Daily auditions will be held until Dec 16 from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm at the Pinoy Arabia FM Station, Marina FM Studio at the Marina Mall.
Pinoy Arabia FM now on its second year continues to sizzle and conquer the airwaves with its new programme offering to its listeners. Broadcasting live from the Marina FM studio in Marina Mall, Kuwait, Pinoy Arabia FM, since its launch on Oct 30, 2014 has generated a sensational following and a great number of listeners not only in Kuwait but in the GCC countries and beyond. The Pinoy Arabia FM team is composed of Maxxy Santiago, Ben Garcia, Randy Mendoza, DJ Darling Dude, DJ Red, DJ Spark, DJ Raymund and DJ Mika.
Here are the singing competition registration rules and guidelines:
1. The Pinoy Arabia FM Sing Galing Karoling 2 competition is open to all talented Filipino citizens or of Filipino descent aged 16 and above who will sing a duet.
2. All top three placers in any singing competition in Kuwait are disqualified to join but may participate as guests if they wish to do so.
3. Interested individuals may register at the Pinoy Arabia FM Page on Facebook by liking the page and send via message the following: Name, Age, Address, Occupation, Phone Number and Title of Song.
4. Pinoy Arabia FM will send you a message of confirmation of registration and qualified contestants will be informed of the day and time of audition on the radio.
5. The competition proper will start on Dec 1, 2016. Qualified contestants must come to the Pinoy Arabia FM station in Marina Mall on the day of their scheduled audition and bring with them their minus one accompaniment in MP3 format in the USB.
6. Auditions will be held live on the radio from Monday to Saturday.
7. There will be weekly qualifiers whose names will be announced every Sunday on the radio and posted on the Pinoy Arabia FM Facebook page.
8. All weekly qualifiers will compete in the Grand Finals on Dec 23, 2016.
9. Board of judges will be composed of individuals who have musical acumen.
10. A round trip ticket to Manila courtesy of Al Rashed International Travel Company will be given to the Grand Prize Winner plus cash prize. The second and third placers will get cash prizes, trophies and other valuable gifts.
