Farwaniya Governor receives officials
Farwaniya Governor Sheikh Faisal Al-Hamoud Al-Malik Al-Sabah on Dec 13 received the movie star Jawad Al-Shakerji and his wife Ateka Al-Khateeb who is a film director.
During the meeting, the two parties discussed the importance of cinema in developing the society and raising public awareness.
Meanwhile, Sheikh Faisal received the Acting Assistant Undersecretary for Consultation Services and Psychiatric Guidance at the Social Development Office in the Prime Minister’s Diwan Dr Wafaa Al-Arada. Al-Sabah praised the services offered by the Social Development in enhancing positive values.
Also, the governor received Dr Mubarak Al-Shimmari who recently received a doctorate degree. Dr Al-Shimmari presented the governor with a copy of his thesis titled “Evaluating the programs offered to the visually impaired individuals in Kuwait based on international criteria”.
Sheikh Faisal stressed the importance of scientific researches for developing the Kuwaiti society.
In addition, Sheikh Faisal also received the Director of Administrative Affairs at Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Turad Al-Enzi.
Al-Enzi presented the governor with a copy of his new book titled “Your guide when hired”. Sheikh Faisal thanked Al-Enzi and wished him the best.
