Peaceful ‘bombs’ of the Pope

The head of the Roman Catholic Church has exploded ‘several bombs’ since taking over the papacy in the Vatican. The importance of the Pope being head of the largest religious gathering known to mankind is there are an estimated 1.2 billion Roman Catholics in the world and more than 40 percent of the world’s Catholics live in Latin America.

The Pope said, ‘Through humility, soul searching, and prayerful contemplation we have gained a new understanding of certain dogmas. The church no longer believes in a literal hell where people suffer. This doctrine is compatible with the infinite love of God. God is not a judge but a friend and a lover of humanity. God seeks not to condemn but only to embrace.

‘Hell is merely a metaphor for the isolated soul, which like all souls ultimately will be united in love with God’, Pope Francis declared.

In a speech the Pope claimed ‘All religions are true, because they are true in the hearts of all those who believe in

them. What other kind of truth is there? In the past, the church has been harsh on those it deemed morally wrong or sinful.

‘Today, we no longer judge. Like a loving father, we never condemn our children. Our church is big enough for heterosexuals and homosexuals, for the pro-life and the pro-choice! For conservatives and liberals, even communists are welcome and have joined us. We all love and worship the same God.’

He added: ‘The church has witnessed important developments, and today is the religion of the modernists. He said it was time to give up on intolerance and recognize that religious truth changes and evolves; they are not absolute or carved stone above.

The Pope also said: Through acts of love and affection, we can make a nonbeliever acknowledge God and then free his soul and make him an active participant in the redemption of mankind.

He added: ‘When we spread love and beauty in the world, we touch God and recognize Him.

The Bible is a beautiful sacred book, but as a whole like old great books, there are some parts that need to be reviewed to fit with the message of love and truth according to our new understanding.

The Pope concluded: ‘We will begin in the nomination of women cardinals and bishops and priests. I hope one day in the future to have a woman Pope to open doors for women as they are opened to men.’
