Move to allow those registered under small & medium projects

-

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 30: Public Authority for Manpower is reviewing the decision concerning allowing employees registered under small and medium projects to transfer to the same activity or specialization in the private sector, reports Al-Anba daily quoting informed sources from the authority.

They explained that the current transfer procedure is limited to the same activity within the project’s category, whether small or medium. The amendment of the decision is still being perused. In case of the endorsement of the decision to allow transfer outside the small and medium projects sector, the remaining conditions will still apply, such as necessity for employees to work for minimum three years under the current employer.

In response to warnings about the existence of food products in the local market, such as frozen buffalo meat, chicken shawarma, chili powder and granulated chocolate, which are infected with salmonella and fungus, reliable sources from Kuwait Municipality affirmed that the infected products have been removed, reports Al-Rai daily.

They said Kuwait Municipality instructed its branches in all governorates to take samples of the products and analyze them such that if any product is found to be infected, it should be destroyed immediately.
