KUWAIT CITY, April 3: Kuwait Financial Centre “Markaz” has announced its participation as a Gold Sponsor to (Kuwait Financial Forum) that will be held today and tomorrow under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of Kuwait. The forum is organized by Kuwait Banking Association in collaboration with Al-Iktissad Wal-Aamal Group at Sheraton Kuwait and will include a number of relevant ministers, central bank governors, senior government officials and a group of senior leaders in the Arab, regional and international financial, banking, advisory and economic institutions.
The (Kuwait Financial Forum) is a platform to discuss issues and challenges facing the Gulf banking sector in the next phase resulting from the falling oil prices and budgets’ deficit. The forum will also discuss future options in depth with governments, relevant regulatory authorities and leaders of Gulf and international banks and companies, as well as financial economists and experts in order to offer proposals for meeting those challenges and developing the banking sector in this highrisk phase.
