ith their pin busting form reaching its peak at the right time, the roaring Thunders of K2E2 who were in tip top shape during the double round championship bowled true to form to clinch the coveted title of the just concluded 2017 2nd FTBK-ROBINSONS Tenpin Bowling Team Tournament being held at the Cozmo Entertainment Center bowling

DMDA Bowleros — 3rd runners up

lanes in Salmiya. The World Class Keglers who were running third in the first round tried their best to catch the eventual winner settled for the first runner up post with early pace setter D’ Islanders and top qualifier DMDA Bowleros grabbing the second and third runner up honors respectively.

After 18 long weeks of elimination round matches, the Top 6 teams based on their total pin fall scores advanced to the much awaited double round robin finals. Heading the list of title contenders were the architectural designers of DMDA Bowleros who topped the elimination round and joining the top finalist were World Class, Cozmo Salmiya, D’ Islanders, Rock N Bowl and K2E2. Taking the early initiative after the opening game of the first round was D’ Islanders who stopped Cozmo Salmiya via a high scoring 902-795 outcome. The K2E2 Thunders were not far behind as it kicked off its campaign with a victory over Rock N Bowl 795-703 with the World Class Keglers also making it to the win column through a low scoring 708-681 win over the DMDA Bowleros. On the next game, the two pace setters D’ Islanders and K2E2 squared off for the outright lead with D’ Islanders retaining the top post as they nipped the Thunders at the wire 836-805. Also winning their respective second matches were World Class who stopped Rock N Bowl via a 866-806 count and DMDA who grounded Cozmo Salmiya 768-718.

In game three, K2E2 wrest the lead as the Thunders dished out a record breaking performance against the equal tenacious World Class pin busters. In this ultra high scoring encounter, strikes rained down the Cozmo lanes as the teams wiped out the pins
