Kuwait FM condoles Egypt:

Kuwait’s Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah phoned Monday Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shukry to extend condolence­s over victims of Sunday’s deadly terror attacks on two churches.

During the phone conversati­on, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled expressed deep sympathy with the victims of the bombing attacks on St. George Church in Tanta and Saint Mark’s Cathedral in Alexandria which killed at least 44 people and injured over 100 others.

He also reiterated Kuwait’s strong condemnati­on of such heinous criminal acts. (KUNA) Palestinia­ns get Saudi grant: The Palestinia­n Government announced on Thursday start of disbursing the $10 million Saudi grant for aiding Gazans secure housing.

“We declare beginning of disbursing financial allotments for those of demolished houses as part of the $10 million Saudi grant,” said Mufid Al-Hasaynah, the Minister of Public Works and Housing, in a statement on sidelines of a ceremony marking handover of the allocation­s.

The $10 million grant is part of a $40 million aid, earmarked by Saudi Arabia to help Gazans whose houses had been demolished in previous wars. (KUNA)
