KAMCO sponsors AUK’s 13th Annual Career Fair

KUWAIT CITY, April 11: KAMCO Investment Company, a leading investment company with one of the largest AUMS in the region, sponsored the American University of Kuwait’s (AUK) 13th Annual Career Fair. The event presented students, alumni, and anyone in search of a job with an opportunity to meet face to face with KAMCO representatives and ask questions about the hiring process within the investment firm.
The fair took place at AUK, where KAMCO representatives interacted with students, fresh graduates and alumnus seeking internships, career opportunities and advice related to the hiring process in the firm and the market as a whole.
Farouq Al Oumi, Chief Resources Officer of KAMCO, said, “As one of the leading investment firms in Kuwait, it is our duty to support the future generations by participating in such events that educate students and help prepare them for their future professions. We will continue to be on the lookout for more opportunities to enhance and empower the local youth, as this goal falls in line with our human resource development strategy. As a market leader our focus is to not only improve our employees but also provide aspiring graduates with the necessary tools to pave the path for their future careers.”
Also commenting on the career fair, Ms Danah Al Jasem, Vice President and Head of the Marketing Department said, “The successful turnout of this event further entices our excitement and commitment to annual sponsor the career fair. This event marks yet another initiative taken by KAMCO to empower the local youth and provide them with the opportunity to improve their job seeking skills and assisting them in acquiring the necessary assistance they need to prepare for their future working lives.”
Ms Al Jasem added, “We, at KAMCO, take it as our mission to participate and further educate the local youth as part of our corporate social responsibility plan that primarily focuses on the categories of education, health and the environment.
