Barq Al-Tahrir rules Cup

Winners from Al-Tahrir stable receiving the trophy The horse Barq Al-Tahrir from AlTahrir Stable won the late Ahmad Al-Saqer Cup after taking first place in the 1,400-meter race for Class-2 horses which was held at the Hunting and Equestrian Club. The second place was taken by the horse Radaad Al-Buraa from Mubarak Al-Otaibi Stable and the third place went to the horse Kiraar from Ahmad Abu Shuaiba stable.

Meanwhile, the horse Salmani from Al-Nimsha Stable came first in the 1,400-meter of first setting for Class-3 horses, followed by the horse Ghalaa Moza from Al-Nimsha Stable in second place and the horse Dhu Al-Lama from Al-Mulla Stable in third place.

In round two for losing horses, the horse Ezzillah from Al-Mulla Stable came first in the 1,200-meter race, followed by the horse Al-‘Ahad AlJadeed from Al-Nimsha Stable in second place and the horse Farhati from Al-Abraq Stable in third place.

In the 1,800-meter race of third setting for Class-1 horses, the horse Omniyatik from Al-Nimsha Stable took first place, followed by the horse Laoyoun Ali from Al-Tahrir Stable in second place.

In the 1,400-meter race for amateurs, the horse Zaboun Al-Hardi from Al-Mulla Stable won the club’s cup for amateurs, followed by the horse Aqdaar in second place and the horse Nasser Mohsin in third place.

In his role, the club’s director general Khaled Al-Tayyar praised the horse owners and their cooperatio­n with the committees that are organizing the championsh­ips, affirming that the coming phase will witness major developmen­t which will please the fans of this heritage sport.
