Kuwaiti-Bahraini joint panel meets today
Romanian PM deems Kuwait as important partner
KUWAIT CITY, April 15, (KUNA): Kuwait will host the ninth round of the Kuwaiti-Bahraini joint supreme cooperation committee on Sunday, for follow up on mutual cooperation.
First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah AlKhaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah will head the Kuwaiti side, where the Bahraini Foreign Minister Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al-Khalifa will lead the Bahraini officials during the commission meeting.
More than 51 representatives of various sectors from both countries will participate in the meeting to enhance the ongoing cooperation between both nations in all fields.
The agreement for establishing the committee was inked in September 2001.
The Bahraini capital hosted the previous round on 24th of December 2014.
Meanwhile, in Vienna, Romania is eager to bolster ties on all possible levels with its important Gulf region partner Kuwait, said Romanian Prime Minister Sorin Grindeanu.
According to a statement by the Kuwaiti embassy in Bucharest Saturday, Grindeanu’s praising of Kuwait came during his meeting with Kuwaiti Ambassador Talal Al-Haraji.
Grindeanu expressed eagerness to further bolster relations with Kuwait on all possible domains, said the Ambassador who affirmed on his part that his country was looking into means to fully implement previously signed agreements between Kuwait and Romania.
Meanwhile, the Ambassador asked Prime Minister Grindeanu to intensify efforts to find Kuwaiti national Mohammad Al-Baghli who went missing in Romania in late 2015.
