Sports Dept at PAS holds horse racing competition

The Sports for All Department at the Public Authority for Sports (PAS) organized a horse racing tournament at Sheikh Ahmad AlJaber Racecourse in Farwaniya Equestrian Club.

The horse Miraj from Al-Bathal Stable came first in the 1,600-meter race of fifth setting for Class-3 horses within 1:41:75 minutes.

The horse Tirhal from Al-Faramawi Stable and the horse Qabi from Al-Saihan Stable came in second and third places respectively.

Winners on podium holding trophy won at Farwaniya Equestrian Club. Director of the Sports for All Department Hamed Al-Hazeem, accompanied by Head of the Farwaniya Equestrian Club Mubarak Al-Daihaan presented the cup to the head of Al-Bathal Stable.

In the 1,200-meter race of the first setting, the horse Muhja from Meshal Stable came first within 1:14:16 minutes, followed by the horse Majazif in second place and the horse Al-Jazal in third.

In the 1,800-meter race of second setting for Class-3 horses, the horse Al-Mutadi won after crossing the finish line in 1:58:20 minutes, followed by the horse Al-Hariri in second place, and the horse Plattini in third place.

In the 2,000-meter race of third setting for Class-3 horses, the horse Sayyaf took first place by finishing the race in 2:10:48 minutes, followed by the horse Satwan in second place and the horse Ghisab from Ajab Al-Khudhur Stable in third.

In the 1,000-meter race of fourth setting, the horse Aga Khan from Al-Mitraqah Stable came first after clocking 1:01:55 minutes, followed by the horse Ez Nasser in second place and the horse Sufayan in third place.

Director of the Sports for All Department Hamed Al-Hazeem praised the organizing committee of the event and vowed to continue supporting and protecting “our beloved sports”.
