Greeting the change of season with a smash, RSK Badminton — the badminton division of RSK Sports, is on another 4-week tourney, the club’s 31st and this time dubbed as “SMDC Challenge Cup” at its home gym in Kazma Sports Complex in Adailiya.

With 228 participants — the club’s highest number of participants in a single tournament so far this year — and sponsored by SM Development Corporation (SMDC Properties), players battle it out for the champion, 2nd place, and 3rd place titles in different categories through a rotation format in morning and afternoon divisions.

Employing badminton skills, guts, wits, and endurance, the below players initially passed the test in the elimination rounds and made it to the shortlist of semifinalists among 228 contenders.

Aside from the scheduled 4th week action of SMDC Challenge Cup on April 21, RSK Badminton also prepares for another diehard one-day badminton tournament slated on April 28 entitled “Lillywhites Championship Cup” and is expected to be joined in by more than 200 players of different levels.

RSK Chairperson and Founder Felix Besanez invites all badminton aficionados to visit the club anytime on a Friday at Kazma Sports Complex in Adailiya, and experience hard-smashing action on-court and family fun off-court or call 50328862 for any inquiries or visit its Facebook page RSK Sports.
