Al-Faisal wins Cup

KUWAIT CITY, April 20: The horse AlFaisal from Al-Ghaiam Stable came first in the 2,200 meter race – the main and fifth setting of the Second Mubarak Al-Kabeer Horseracing Meet held on the racetracks of the Hunting and Equestrian Club.

The horse Al-Faisal finished the race within 2:21:07 minutes, winning the cup sponsored by Ooredoo Company.

The horses Shalani and Al-Muqarab from Al-Nashma Stable came second and third respectively. Al-Muthana from Al-Azeb Stable in second place and the horse Monaco from Al-Saihan Stable in third.

In the 1,600-meter race of second setting, the horse Sulaimani from Al-Nashma Stable came first by finishing the race in 1:42:01 minutes. The horse Al-Waleed from Al-Saihan Stable came second and the horse Mazkour from Aal Emara Stable came third.

In the 1,600-meter of first setting for original Arabian horses, the horse Bahees from Abna Al-Zamanan Stable came first by finishing the race in 1:35:06 minutes, followed by the horse Al-Asefa from the same stable in second place and the horse Dereski from Al-Qeni Stable in third.

Director of Public Relations Department at Ooredoo Company Mejbel Al-Ayoub congratulated Mubarak Al-Kabeer Equestrian Club for being officially declared by the Public Authority for Sports and for organizing the competitions.

Meanwhile, Director of Mubarak AlKabeer Equestrian Club Raed al-Wahab affirmed the keenness of the club’s Board of Directors to organize the meet after the club was declared officially by the Public Authority for Sport.
