JBA Honor Roll and Graduation patronized by Ambassador of Romania
Jahra Bilingual Academy (JBA) held its annual Honor Roll and Graduation Ceremony during the first week of May at Sleyl Ballroom of Millenium Copthorne Hotel in Jahra. The event was patronized by His Excellency the Ambassador of Romania, Daniel Tanase. The general director and owner of the school, Dr Eng Akram Al Najjar attended the ceremony with his wife and received an appreciation honorary plaque for his active involvement, support, and great contribution to JBA’s continuous development and success.
The Principal of the school, Dr Oana Al Najjar, addressed a speech welcoming the JBA owner, His Excellency Ambassador of Romania and congratulating the honor students, graduates, and parents. She highlighted the fact that Jahra Bilingual Academy has got a clear mission, to inspire success, confidence and hope in each student. Moreover, JBA’s values such as care, cater for pupils’ needs, responsibility, and respecting differences are very solid and always applied. The school’s vision is to prepare each student for a successful future as a lifelong learner. Thus, Jahra Bilingual Academy has become one of the top bilingual schools in Kuwait.
The artistic program of the event commenced with traditional Kuwaiti dance and it continued with ‘Frozen’ choreography, military show, ‘Beautiful day’ performance, and KG2 graduation song. A magician followed with an exciting show accompanied by lots of bubbles flying like magic, too. Before the honor roll have started, Dr Eng Akram Al Najjar presented a gratitude plaque to His Excellency the Romanian Ambassador Daniel Tanase. Also, the best teachers and coordinators were awarded by the JBA Principal, Dr Oana Al Najjar. In the end, pictures were taken with the honor students, graduates, and parents, then everybody enjoyed a lavish open buffet.
