KUWAIT CITY, May 10: Burgan Bank (BB), one of the highest contributors to sustainability and progress in society, is sponsoring American United School’s 4th Annual Art’s Night themed ‘Passport to the Arts, because Art has no Boundaries’, to encourage creative expression, help unleash innovative ideas among Kids and enable them to learn valuable skills in their spare time. The cultural activity will take place on May 18, 2017.

With an-ever growing involvement in the community to create positive and lasting change, Burgan Bank’s latest initiative seeks to encourage arts and creative thinking, promote diverse skills and help create a culture-rich environment where children can grow and thrive. Art can also teach the Children how to preserve the environment and understand the importance of recycling of raw materials and use them to come up with innovative ideas for crafts. Fine arts also play a major role in shaping the child’s personality and represent a powerful way to nurture a new generation of young artists.

Burgan Bank believes that art has a unique ability to bring people of different cultures and backgrounds together and such platforms are proven to boost children’s self-confidence and expand children’s view of the world, while combining talents under one roof that will garner stronger community ties with each other, each making a real impact on the children’s lives. In addition, painting has a great importance in children’s lives, particularly to those of a very young age or introverts, because it is a simple avenue to express their feelings and unleash their imagination. There are many and various psychology studies confirm that painting is a powerful means a child communicates with the parents, who understand their kids’ moods through the arts and paintings.
