Old documents for sale:
The Kuwaiti documents which were offered for sale in the social media are old and the person who posted them is an Arab who had a strong interest in collecting ancient Arab and international manuscripts, reports Al-Anba daily quoting a knowledgeable security source.
Speaking to the daily, the source pointed out the State Security summoned the Arab and made him sign an undertaking not to post such documents in the media.
Training course on counterfeits:
The General Customs Department, in collaboration with Abdul-Mohsen AlBabtain Company, recently organized a training course on damages caused by contaminated and counterfeit products and goods for some of its employees.
Director General of the department Sulaiman Al-Fahad stressed the need to eliminate smuggling and trading in illegal goods and this is the priority of the department. He pointed out the department is determined to wage war against counterfeiting and to protect intellectual property rights.
Police arrest bedoun for drugs:
Police have arrested a young bedoun for possessing booze and 6 drug pills, reports Al-Anba daily.
The arrest happened in Ahmadi during routine patrolling in the area. The suspect was initially arrested for reckless driving and when police ordered him to pull over; they found the man under the influence of alcohol.
He has been handed over to the authorities.
GCC national arrested:
Officers from the Criminal Security Department arrested a 17-year-old GCC national for setting fire to a garbage bin in Sulaibiya.
The suspect was referred to the concerned security unit for legal action while a security source disclosed those high on drugs are usually engaged in illegal activities like arson.
