KFH launches program ‘Increase Good Deeds in Ramadan 3’
Various social and humanitarian events to be held
KUWAIT CITY, May 24: KFH has launched a comprehensive voluntary Ramadan program aiming at strengthening KFH’s social role, while reinforcing ties with various segments of society.
This program is the beginning of collaboration program and activities within the framework of the memorandum of understanding KFH inked with the Ministry of State for Youth Affairs in tandem with “Kuwait Capital of Arab Youth 2017” kick-off event.
KFH’s Ramadan program “Increase Good Deeds in Ramadan 3” includes various social and humanitarian events and activities stemming from the bank’s endeavors to solidify its commitment towards the society, while supporting all social and humanitarian initiatives.
Executive Manager Group Public Relations and Media at KFH, Yousef Abdullah Al-Ruwaieh said that KFH will continue its efforts to support all activities of interest to the society in line with the bank’s strategy and social responsibility message, especially in tandem with the holy month of Ramadan.
He added in a press release, that KFH has prepared a comprehensive program in Ramadan that encompasses different activities and social segments.
He indicated that KFH will distribute breakfast meals at different places including Nayef Palace and Souq Al Mubarakeya.
KFH organizes breakfast feasts to workers on duties during Iftar time in recognition of their efforts and responsibilities. The number of iftar meals KFH distributes reaches roughly 20,000 meals; all prepared by KFH voluntary team, where they distribute over 600 meals daily until end of Ramadan.
KFH voluntary team will be present at different places to meet the public directly and distribute Ramadan presents and confectionaries (Qerqe’an). KFH will organize a number of visits to health centers and hospitals to visit patients and distribute presents.
Al-Ruwaieh explained that KFH voluntary team will provide voluntary services to the public and will assist civil defense and security men and distribute food and beverages to worshipers.
KFH is keen on reinforcing the human values among society individuals. KFH organized during Ramadan 2016 over 40 activities and events in only 30 days.
He said that the collaboration with the Ministry of State for Youth Affairs affirms the bank’s commitment towards the youth and reflects its significant role in supporting this vital category of the society.
KFH is the only bank in the region to sponsor a group of Kuwaiti youth who have international achievements. KFH held over 100 initiatives to support the Kuwaiti talents.
Meanwhile, Public relations Department Manager at Ministry of State for Youth Affairs, Nasser AlArfaj hailed KFH’s role in supporting the youth and optimally assuming the social responsibility.
