Ex-Seahawks Hall of Famer Cortez Kennedy found dead

Owners approve several rule changes

MIAMI, May 24, (Agencies): Pro Football Hall of Famer Cortez Kennedy passed away at the age of 48, the Orlando Police Department said Tuesday.

The cause of death remains unknown. ESPN reported that police said Kennedy’s death wasn’t suspicious but they are investigat­ing.

Kennedy, an eight-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle, spent his entire 11-year career with the Seattle Seahawks from 1990 to 2000. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2012.
