Kuwait to capitalize on ‘youth initiatives’
KUWAIT CITY, May 25, (KUNA): Minister of State for Municipal Affairs Mohammad Al-Jabri affirmed on Thursday that Kuwait would start working on a scientific vision to capitalize on youth initiatives, and carry them out away from “bureaucracy.” The minister made the statement at the opening session of a conference on supporting youth and small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs).
This vision aims to remove all obstacles facing creative and innovative ideas and projects.
He expressed deep belief in the necessity of establishing an official incubator that can receive youth energies and adopt their thoughts and expectations.
The theme of the conference, youth and SMEs, coincides with electing “Kuwait Capital of Arab Youth 2017,” AlJabri added.
His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah gives priority to the Kuwaiti youth through policies and directives offering them support to play due effective role in the country’s renaissance the minister said.
