Defense minister decorates 2 officers
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Mohammad Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah on Thursday decorated two officers as first lieutenant and a medical doctor with the same rank according to the Amiri decree on decorating them as officers in Kuwaiti Army.
A press statement from the Moral Guidance and Public Relations Department at the Ministry of Defense revealed the minister decorated the new officers after reading to them the Amiri decree followed by their swearing in.
Sheikh Mohammad Khalid affirmed determination of the ministry to improve medical services within the system while urging the new officers to maintain good character, remain dedicated to their chosen career and zealously prioritize interests of the country.
