Qatar Airways adds additional flights from Kuwait
Seamless connections to US and European destinations
KUWAIT CITY, May 25: Qatar Airways is pleased to announce that it will commence nine additional weekly flights on its Kuwait route this summer, bringing total weekly services on the route to 65 flights. From 15 June, travellers flying from Kuwait will have even greater flexibility in making their travel plans, allowing them to discover more than 150 destinations worldwide and connecting them seamlessly to Qatar Airways’ extensive global network.
Just in time for summer, Qatar Airways has reaffirmed its commitment to Kuwait by introducing nine extra flights, providing passengers with greater flexibility in their travel plans, better connections and an opportunity to experience the airline’s award-winning in-flight experience. Passengers flying on Qatar Airways flights served by B787, A350, A380, A319 and select A320 and A330 aircraft can stay in touch with their friends and family around the world by using the award-winning airline’s on-board Wi-Fi and GSM service.
The first additional flight, QR1091, will depart Kuwait at 05:05 a.m. daily and arrive in Qatar at 06:30 am local time, making it ideal for travellers to connect to seven exciting destinations in the U.S. including Los Angeles, Houston, Chicago, Washington, Boston, Dallas, Miami, Atlanta and New York, all with a transit time of less than two hours. The second flight will depart Kuwait at 12:05 pm and arrive in Doha at 13:30 pm local time, providing passengers the option of transiting to Europe’s most popular summer destinations, including Madrid, Milan, Rome, Geneva, London, Stockholm, Athens, Paris, Barcelona and Vienna, all with less than two hour’s transit time.
In addition to seamless connectivity, Privilege Club members will earn 2,000 bonus Qmiles in Premium Class or 1,000 bonus Qmiles in Economy Class when they book their ticket between 14 May and 15 June 2017 and travel from 15 June until 10 October 2017 from Kuwait to Doha on QR1091 and QR 1075.
