Pinas Gilas bag Asia’s Grill One Day League Championship
Banta nab first win at PBLK 7th season

KUWAIT CITY, May 25: Pinas Gilas had a flawless run and went on to win the championship in the Asia’s Grill One Day League held at Hawally Disabled Sports Club on Friday.
The league featured powerhouse basketball teams including Pinas Gilas, Todamax, FIL-ASEAK, Yousef, Marina Aces, OSIK, and Hotshots.
The Elimination round saw Pinas Gilas, Todamax, Yousef, and FILASEAK each get a win to secure a spot at the Semifinals.
Grueling match-ups followed in the semis, with Pinas Gilas taking on FIL-ASEAK and Todamax facing off with Yousef. Gilas made it look easy beating FIL-ASEAK, 97-71. Todamax had a slightly harder time shaking off Yousef, coming up with the win in overtime, 103-97. fourth quarter as both teams refused to let up on offense. Brionez, Pesigan, and Licup stepped up for Todamax, but Gilas’ Balderama, Sargilla, and Tadlas countered and made sure to hold on to their lead to secure the
