Kuwaiti FM meets OIC chief:

Kuwaiti First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah received Organisation of the Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Secretary General Yousef bin Ahmad Al-Othaimeen on Monday.
During the encounter, held at the Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry, the two discussed the latest regional and international developments and the OIC’s upcoming agenda.
Also in attendance were Assistant Foreign Minister for the First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister’s Office Affairs Sheikh Dr. Ahmad Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah and Deputy Assistant Foreign Minister for the First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister’s Office Affairs Saleh Al-Loghani.
Others were Deputy Assistant Foreign Minister for International Organisations Affairs Nasser Al-Hain and Kuwait’s Consul General to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and Permanent OIC Representative Wael Al-Enezi. (KUNA)
Kuwait, US discuss military co-op:
Kuwaiti Army’s Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Mohammad Al-Khoder and Commander of US Central Command Army General Joseph L. Votel discussed boosting joint cooperation on Sunday.
The two sides also discussed topics of mutual concern and boosting military cooperation, the Ministry of Defense said in a statement.
The meeting was attended by several high-ranking army officers and US Ambassador to Kuwait Lawrence Silverman. (KUNA)
King of Jordan to Kuwait today:
Jordanian King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein will arrive in Kuwait Tuesday on a visit where he will convey his greetings on the advent of the Holy Month of Ramadan to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. (KUNA)
